Spotlight: LG WM3600HVA 5.2 cu. ft. Ultra-Capacity Front-Load Washer with AI DD™ — Steam-Ready Deep Clean, from $699
If your laundry pile never seems to shrink, a big-capacity front-load washer is one of the best upgrades you can make — and this week's Oxbury spotlight makes it an easy one to afford. Meet the LG WM3600HVA 5.2 cu. ft. Ultra-Capacity Front-Load Washer with AI DD™, a premium, ENERGY STAR-certified machine you can take home for hundreds less than the big-box price.
Big drum, fewer loads
With a generous 5.2 cu. ft. ultra-large capacity, the WM3600HVA swallows king-size comforters, bulky towels, and a full family's weekly wash in a single cycle. Fewer loads means less time doing laundry and lower water and hydro bills over the life of the machine.
Smarter, gentler cleaning
The standout feature here is AI DD™ (Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive). The washer senses the weight and softness of each load and automatically selects the right combination of washing motions to protect your fabrics — LG says it helps reduce wear and tear compared with conventional washing. Paired with 6Motion Technology, which combines up to six different drum movements, you get a deep, thorough clean that's still gentle on your clothes.
A built-in Steam function helps loosen tough stains and reduce common household allergens, so everyday laundry comes out fresher. And because the WM3600HVA is ENERGY STAR certified, it delivers that performance while sipping energy and water — a real difference on your monthly bills.
Who it's for
This washer is a great fit for busy households, growing families, and anyone who wants to cut down on laundry day. The direct-drive motor runs quietly and reliably, making it a smart choice for homes where the laundry room shares a wall with a bedroom or living space. If you've been eyeing a premium LG front-loader but balked at the sticker price, this is your chance.
The Oxbury savings
Here's where it gets good. The same LG WM3600HVA typically sells new for around $1,200 or more at the big-box stores. At Oxbury Appliances, you choose the condition that fits your budget:
- New Box — $999 CAD: Brand-new, factory-fresh, just a smarter price.
- Open Box – Scratch & Dent — $899 CAD: Fully functional with only minor cosmetic marks — often hidden once installed. In stock now.
- Factory Refurbished — from $699 CAD: Professionally restored and tested to work like new, for the biggest savings of all.
That's up to roughly $500 in savings versus buying new at a big-box retailer — for the very same model, backed by our in-house testing. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
