What exactly is an "Open-Box" appliance?
Open-box units are typically items returned by customers who realized the size was wrong or changed their mind. They are practically new, fully tested, and come with a significant discount.
How much can I save on "Scratch & Dent" items?
Savings typically range from 30% to 60% off retail prices. The discount depends on the location and visibility of the cosmetic blemish.
Are refurbished appliances safe to buy?
Yes. Our refurbished units are restored by certified technicians and pass a 20-point quality check to ensure they perform exactly like a new machine.
Do you sell brand new, box-packed appliances?
Yes, we carry a large inventory of brand-new, factory-sealed appliances from major brands like LG, Samsung, and Bosch.
Can I see the specific scratch or dent before buying?
Absolutely. We encourage customers to visit our London or Brampton showrooms. If shopping online, you can request specific photos of a unit.
What brands do you usually have in stock?
We frequently stock LG, Samsung, GE, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Electrolux, and Frigidaire, among others.
Are your products covered by the manufacturer's warranty?
Brand-new items include the manufacturer's warranty. Open-box and scratch & dent items are covered by our own comprehensive Oxbury Warehouse warranty.
Warranty & Service
How long is the standard Oxbury Warranty?
Most of our major appliances come with a 1-Year Functional Warranty covering parts and labor.
What does the functional warranty cover?
It covers mechanical and electrical failures, such as a compressor not cooling or a washer not spinning. It does not cover cosmetic wear or user-inflicted damage.
Can I purchase an extended warranty?
Yes, we offer extended protection plans for up to 3 or 5 years for total peace of mind. Please ask our sales team for pricing.
Who does the repairs if something goes wrong?
We have a dedicated team of certified in-house technicians. We don't outsource our service, ensuring you get the best local support.
Do you offer installation services?
Yes, professional installation is available for washers, dryers, and dishwashers in our local delivery zones.
What is your policy on "Dead on Arrival" units?
In the rare event a unit does not work upon delivery, we will replace it or repair it immediately at no cost to you.
Do you provide repair services for appliances not bought from you?
Currently, our service team prioritizes Oxbury customers to ensure fast response times for our own clients.
Delivery & Pickup
How much does local delivery cost?
Local delivery starts at a flat rate within London and Brampton. Final costs depend on your distance from the warehouse and the number of items.
Do you offer "Same-Day" or "Next-Day" delivery?
We often provide next-day delivery for in-stock items if ordered before 2 PM. Please confirm with your sales representative.
Will the delivery team move my old appliance?
Yes, we offer "Haul-Away" services for a small fee. We will remove your old appliance and ensure it is recycled responsibly.
Is in-store pickup free?
Yes! You can pick up your order from our London or Brampton locations for free. Please bring a suitable vehicle and tie-downs.
Do you deliver to the second floor or basement?
Yes, but please inform us in advance if there are stairs or tight turns so our team can bring the correct equipment.
Do you ship across Canada?
We ship many smaller appliances Canada-wide. For major appliances, we currently focus on Southern Ontario.
What should I do before the delivery team arrives?
Please clear a path to the installation area and measure your doorways to ensure the unit will fit.
Ordering & Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major Credit Cards, Debit, Cash (in-store), and E-transfers.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Yes, we partner with financing providers to offer flexible monthly payment options. Select 'Financing' at checkout to apply.
Can I cancel my order before delivery?
Yes, orders can be cancelled before they leave the warehouse. A small processing fee may apply for special-order items.
Do you price match other retailers?
Because our scratch & dent pricing is already significantly lower than retail, we don't standardly price match, but we always guarantee the best value for the condition.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. We believe in transparent pricing. The price you see plus tax and delivery is all you pay.
Can I buy in bulk for a rental property?
Yes! We work with many landlords and property managers. Contact us for "Multi-Unit" discount pricing.
